Itenary
Day 01: Tezpur Arrival – Bhalukpong (approx 1hr 15min/56.6 km)
Today arrival at Tezpur airport, meet and greet by our representative and proceed to Bhalukpong. After reaching Bhalukpong check in hotel and overnight stay.
Day 02: Bhalukpong – Dirang (approx 5hr/139.1 km)
Today early morning proceed to Dirang. On the way visit Tipi Orchederium- the place over 7500 orchid on display, there are some rare species of orchid, Naag temple. After reaching Dirang check in hotel. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Dirang.
Day 03: Dirang – Tawang (approx 5hr/128.8 km)
Morning after breakfast visit Bomdila Monastery and drive to Tawang- the land of Monpa tribes and major centre of Mahayana Buddhist. On the way lies world’s 2nd largest pass known as Sella Pass and which run through a small ridge along a Sella Lake. And visit Jaswantgarh, memory of brave solider who handily single of approaching Chinese from the pass in 1962 Indo-Chinese war. After reaching Tawang check in hotel and overnight stay.
Day 04: Tawang Sightseeing
Today morning after breakfast visit Tawang monastery, War Memorial, Bhramadungchung Ani Gompa and in the evening shopping at local market (at your own cost). Overnight at Tawang.
Day 05: Tawang – Bumla Pass – Madhuri Lake (day excursion)
Today morning after breakfast excursion to Bumla Pass – the Indo-China border above 15,200 ft above sea level and then Madhuri Lake (own cost). Later back to Tawang. Evening free for leisure and overnight stay.
Day 06: Tawang – Dirang(approx 5hr/128.8 km)
Today morning after breakfast return journey to Bomdila. En route visit Urgelling Monastery- birth place of 6th Dalai Lama, Narunang waterfall, Dirang Dzong and Kiwi garden then continue drive back to Dirang. Overnight at Dirang.
Day 07: Dirang – Bomdila (approx 1hr 15min/42.4 km)
Today morning after breakfast proceed for Bomdila. En route visit Dirang Valley, Eagle nest wildlife sanctuary. After reaching Bomdila check in hotel. Evening free for leisure and o/n stay.
Day 08: Bomdila – Tezpur (approx 5hr/153.3 km)
Today morning after breakfast drive Tezpur. After reaching Tezpur check in hotel. Evening visit Agnigarh hill. Overnight stay at Tezpur.
Day 09: Tezpur Departure
Today morning after breakfast visit Cole Park and then transfer to Tezpur airport for onward destination.
