Itenary
Day 1: Arrival Imphal
Assistance on arrival and then transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Kangla fort and Ima Market. Overnight in Imphal.
Day 2: Imphal-Loktak-Imphal
Full day sightseeing –Govindajee Temple ,Loktak lake(largest fresh water lake in north east), INA Memorial(Indian tri color was first hoisted here by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army), Japanese War Memorial, War Cemetery. Overnight Imphal.
Day 3: Imphal-Moreh- Imphal ( 110 Kms/3-4 Hrs one way)
Leave early in the morning to visit the Indo-Myanmar Border Town of Moreh. On reaching there we will cross over to the Myanmar side to see altogether a different culture and lifestyle in their nearest town of Tamu. There we will make a quick visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and the Local Market, t00000hen spend some time in the Namphalong market. Return back to Imphal and overnight.
Day 4: Imphal- Kohima( 137 kms/4-5 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel transfer to Kohima. Reaching Kohima and check in hotel. Afternoon is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at Kohima hotel.
Day 5: Kohima
After breakfast visit to Nagaland Emporium. Back to hotel. Afternoon visit Vishwema Village (Angamai Tribe) and Kigwema Village. Overnight stay at Kohima.
Day 6: Kohima – Mokokchung ( 148 kms/5-6 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to reach Mokokchung (1325 mts) – the center of Ao Tribe. On the way stop at Longsa village for police check post and also visit LONGSA VILLAGE (Lotha Tribe) which is about 80 km before Mokokchung. Further drive to LONGKHIM village of Ao Tribe (14 KM before Mokokchung). Visit to a village house, Rock memorial, village rise mill etc. Later upon arrival in Mokokchung check-in hote and overnight stay.
Day 7: Mokokchung
Morning excursion to Mopungchukit village. This village is permanent Mission Centre of Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang. Visit time pillar and Morung at the village. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the area on your own. Overnight stay at Mokokchung.
Day 8: Mokokchung – Mon( 203 kms/7hrs)
After an early breakfast check out and transfer to Mon via Tobu. Reaching Mon and check in hotel. Afternoon visit village Morong, Shangnyu village museum, Shangnyu Ang house which is close to the museum, Rock memorials. Overnight stay at Mon hotel.
Day 9: Mon- Dibrugarh( 102 kms/5hrs)
After breakfast check out and drop to Dibrugarh airport for onward journey.
